Larysa Zariczniak, your host, has her masters of history from the University of Nottingham. She also has a somewhat unhealthy interest in Ukrainian history - from ancient fire weavers to some crazy modern politicking.
Listener beware though, she does use some questionable language!
Why create this podcast? Well, Ukrainian history has been used by Empires, politicians and conspiracy theorists alike and it needs to be viewed from Ukrainians themselves and as a whole. This bi-monthly podcast tries to do just that - to bring back Ukrainian knowledge, sources, voices and perspectives, all the while having some fun and learning stuff!
