In Episode 2, I spoke about the evolution of language looking like a genealogical tree - and for your viewing pleasure, I actually found what that tree would look like! So you don't even have to wonder or imagine - simply scroll down. As you see, the Proto-Indo-European language is the ancestor of the majority of European languages including Ukrainian.
